Women's Autumn Trend Report 2019

Whether we like it or not, Summer is well and truly on its way out. This means it's time to take a good look at your wardrobe and decide what you can keep on rotation for another season, and what you might be lacking. To make things a little easier, we've laid out four trends that you're going to want to invest in this Autumn.

Desert Neutrals

Earthy, desert tones are a refreshing update to your regular neutrals. They are drawn from a naturally occurring colour palette, including the tones found in rock formations, soil, fallen leaves and the like. These mother-nature approved hues generally fall under orange, brown, tan and beige. Autumn is the perfect time to put these colours to work as, like their source of inspiration, they reflect the colours of changing nature. Even better, this palette lends itself well to mixing and matching so if you struggle with styling, fear not, these neutrals work harmoniously together.

Low Key Utility

Off the back of nature-inspired colour palettes comes utilitarian wear. You can master this look by incorporating some khaki, oversized pieces and crisp tailoring into your roster. In return, you have have an effortlessly cool style that often comes with little bonuses like extra pockets.

Call of the Wild

The resurgence of animal print seems to have taken over the international street style scene. This visual chaos has become nearly the equivalent of a neutral, where you can use it in place. While leopard, tiger and zebra might be a little much for you, the softer snakeskin is so versatile. Pair with black or a neutral and you've got yourself an easy, cohesive look.
